What is happening around the world…is the situation from 2020 continuing still, or has it taken a turn for the worst?
Ranging from the Russia–Ukraine war, the crisis in Sri Lanka, mass shootings in the US and what happened in Japan all amidst new COVID variants being discovered.
The first instance was Russia declaring war on Ukraine in February. At first, people were criticizing Russia for war but it almost seems like an afterthought today, even though the war is still ongoing and experts predict it might get worse.
As a result of the war, the inflation in almost all parts of the world has skyrocketed. And in most underdeveloped and developing countries, the impacts of it can be clearly seen. Be it the rising prices of everyday items like fruits, vegetables etc. or fuel, but it is safe to say that the world is going through a transformation.
Is it safe to say that Japan is no longer the safest country on the planet after what transpired last week with the unfortunate passing of Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. In a country where the gun control laws are stricter than almost every other country, the question stands is Japan also moving towards Western culture.
Although this was an unimaginable event in itself, would this be the start of something or will Japan sustain itself somehow.
As it may be, a lot of crazy things are happening all over the world. For good or for bad, all we can do is wait and watch.

ロシアとウクライナの戦争、スリランカの危機、アメリカの銃乱射事件。
そして日本で起きた事件。
今年に入ってからさまざまな事件があり、その中で新たなCOVIDの亜種も発見された。
まず最初の事例。
ロシアとウクライナの戦争は、2月にロシアがウクライナに宣戦布告したことから始まった。
当初はロシアの戦争を批判していたが、現在も戦争は続いている。
専門家はさらに悪化する可能性があると予測しているが、今ではほとんど余計なお世話のようにも思われる。
戦争の結果、世界のほとんどすべての地域でインフレが急増している。そして、ほとんどの発展途上国では、その影響がはっきりと見て取れる。
野菜や果物などの日用品や燃料の高騰もそうだが、世界が変貌を遂げつつあると言ってもいいかもしれない…。
先週、日本では、安倍晋三元首相が亡くなった。
日本は、もはや地球上で最も安全な国とは言えないのかもしれない。
銃規制が、ほかのどの国よりも厳しいこの国もまた、西洋文化に向かっているのだろうかという疑問が湧いてくる。
この出来事自体、想像を絶するものだったが、これが何かのきっかけになるのか、それとも何らかの形で維持されていくのか。
いま、世界ではさまざまなことが起きている。
良くも悪くも、私たちにできることは、ただただ待つことだけである……。
